This month’s webinars will focus on new laws effective this year. Such as changes to the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) annual allowable increase, the removal of the one percent additional utility increase and the prohibition of rent increases due to adding dependents to a tenancy. Additionally, the webinar will provide an overview of California Assembly Bill 628 (AB 628) which requires landlords to provide and maintain operational stoves and refrigerators in all rental units. Further, there will be an update on
eviction filing notice requirements which is applicable to all properties subject to the RSO and Just Cause Ordinance (JCO).
