The “Phases & Faces of Affordable Housing in Los Angeles Exhibit” (Phases & Faces), is a first-of-its-kind exhibit to be displayed from April 3, 2017 to May 12, 2017 in the Los Angeles City Hall Bridge Gallery.

The Exhibit showcases the many phases of affordable housing development and preservation in Los Angeles, attempt to put an actual face on homelessness and present the individuals and families who live in and are seeking affordable housing, and more importantly turn the perception and attitude of the public from “Not In My Backyard (NIMBY)” to “Yes in My Backyard (YIMBY)”.

PHASES

Through words and pictures, the exhibit highlights the historic development of affordable housing in the City of Los Angeles, its challenges and opportunities, and the people that it serves.
