The City of Los Angeles has partnered with Stay Housed LA, a coalition between City of L.A., LA County and local non-profit organizations to assist the renters of Los Angeles with eviction-related assistance.
If you can’t pay your rent because of COVID-19 financial hardship, or are being threatened with eviction for any reason, do not move out of your home. Only a court can order you to leave. You have rights and are protected by federal, state and local laws. To understand these laws, please attend one of StayHousedLA workshops. Stay Housed L.A. has the resources you need to know your rights and can assist with the the legal support for those who qualify
The State’s Housing Is Key emergency rental assistance program will remain open for as long as funds are available.
