Funding for these contracts comes from local fee funds, as well as private, State and federal grants that are approved by the Mayor and the City Council on an annual basis.

This RFP seeks to solicit certified and qualified Proposers for the purpose of providing mandatory occupational health and safety training for approximately 155 inspection personnel in compliance with provisions of Municipal Construction Inspector Memorandum of Understanding No. 5 (Inspectors Unit). While LAHD anticipates selecting and funding only one (1) Proposer to provide the training described in the Scope of Work below, LAHD reserves the right to select more than one (1) Proposer for any category of service listed in this RFP, which may result in the execution of more than one (1) contract.

LAHD seeks to solicit qualified organizations/contractors for the REAP Landlord Services Program to provide services including, but not limited to, developing and carrying out a successful outreach program that will inform and educate property owners whose properties are in the Rent Escrow Account Program (REAP). The selected contractor will assist property owners in expediting the removal of existing Housing Code violations, ensuring timely closure of the REAP cases, and preventing them from returning to REAP.
