Tenant and Landlord Resource Inquiries

• Provide education on landlord/tenant issues for tenants, community advocates, and other interested parties, based on the provisions of the LA Municipal Code.
• Provide education and information related to the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO), the Just Cause Ordinance and all housing-related laws and ordinances.
• Provide information about complaints regarding violations of the Los Angeles Municipal Code related to habitability or housing concerns.
• Provide resources and referrals for tenants, landlords, developers, and community advocates.
• Provide information for RSO annual registration fees, Systematic Code Enforcement Program fees, inspection fees, and other fees.
• Address billing concerns such as appeal of fees, and exemption requests.
• Provide information on rent registry forms and other LAHD forms.
• Provide information on records requests.
• Provide assistance with the Affordable and Accessible Housing Registry.
• Provide information and assistance with the first-time homebuyer programs.
• Provide information on documents for the LAHD programs and services.
• Assist in the resolution of housing issues.
